Best Wireless Security Cameras For Small Business-the Top Two

Best Wireless Security Cameras For Small Business-the Top Two

Did you know that well over 30 percent of all new jobs are created by small businesses? That is more than any other sector of the economy. That is why I say that small businesses are the engine that drives our economy. I have the utmost respect for small business owners. They have so much invested in their business and not just money either.

Unfortunately many people see small businesses as an opportunity to steal. Employees and customers account for 70 percent of all business losses in any given year. That’s a huge amount of money.

When I was in the restaurant business I used to tell everyone that the only people who stole from you were your employees, your customers and your suppliers. Everyone else was honest. That holds true for any kind of business.

The best way to stop theft is to get rid of the bad apples that you have in your employ. And for any small business owner that thinks all of his employees are honest is very naive.

The best way to get rid of the bad apples is to have a wireless security camera. Here are the two best as picked out by my customers over the last five years.

1. The first is exit sign hidden camera. This can be placed over any retail, office or warehouse doorway and is real functioning exit sign. It is available in wired or wireless models. But the best one is with the DVR included. This model uses an 8 GB SD card to record images similar to your digital camera.

2. The down view smoke detector is a no-functioning smoke detector and cannot be used as a safety product but is meant to be mounted on the ceiling and look down. It has many different applications in the retail world. The best example of that would be over cash register or over a rear door. If you own a restaurant, place it over your cold storage area or in your dry goods area. You can transmit black-and-white or color images and can be either wired or wireless. It is the second most popular hidden security camera.

Those are the two most popular wireless security cameras for small business.

When are you getting one?

If you think crime can only happen to the other guy you are wrong. The “other guy” is thinking the same thing and to him you are that “other guy”. There is a reason why they call it self defense. You have to protect yourself, your family, your home and business!!

Chances are if you are reading this that crime has touched your life in some way or you consider yourself at risk. Take the next step and do something to protect yourself! Your life and safety is worth far more than the cost of one of these.

The uses for a covert hidden camera are endless. There are home, office and business applications. Undercover law enforcers and government agencies have been using them for years but now they are priced so low that anyone can get one. And easy to use? You bet.

A covert hidden spy camera can be an even better deterrent than a burglar alarm or a security guard. A camera can be used to identify the bad guys catching them red handed indoors or outdoors.

Can you use a spy hidden camera for home, office or business? You actually can’t afford to not have one!

Keys to Effective Inventory Management

Keys to Effective Inventory Management

One of the things we’ve seen time and time again in our business is that the best relocation policies reflect current realities of the real estate market, with aggressive home marketing assistance programs and incentives to employees to price their homes realistically. Still, in today’s environment, it’s inevitable that some properties will end up in inventory. Here are a few of the best practices we recommend to help minimize total program cost and the amount of times homes spend in inventory.

It’s important to understand how a home value is determined as well as the current status of the listings that were used in the appraisal. Circumstances change over time. You may find that the home should be listed at the anticipated selling price – or even below – to gain the attention of buyers. To make sure the house is priced accurately, remember to review comparable sales and listings as well as any issues influencing the market, such as schools, employment and new subdivisions. Take note of the builders who are active in the market and any incentives they are offering. The presence of unsold new homes may call for an adjustment to your marketing strategy.

In selecting a broker, be sure to consider their experience, longevity, market share and creativity. If possible, choose a broker with whom you have worked successfully in the past. Listen carefully to his or her intelligence on the local market area: Local issues such as a major employer leaving town can dramatically impact listing success. These kinds of factors should be considered in establishing a strategy.

A moderate investment to improve first impressions of a property will make it more competitive and may eliminate objections that could prevent a sale. Repaint any bold, personal colors in a neutral hue. Clean or replace the carpets and replace marginal systems such as old water heaters that may be flagged during inspection. Spruce up the entry area with a fresh coat of paint and judicious landscaping and flowers. Listen carefully to your broker’s ideas on strategic incentives to drive showings. For example, the offer of a $500 all-terrain vehicle or a $2,500 lawn tractor might help sell a large property. This type of incentive might be negotiated out of the final offer.

Competition for a home sale today can include typical resale listings as well as foreclosures, short sales and new construction that might be languishing on the market. Online research is not enough: you should visit properties, collect builder flyers, read yard signs and more. For example, if a local builder is offering incentives on a new home, you can consider something similar. The marketplace can change literally overnight, so it’s wise to review strategy with your broker at least twice a month. Regular communication can also help keep the broker more invested in the process and can lead to a richer, more productive partnership. The inventory manager should provide regular marketing updates to the client while offering cost-effective incentives ranging from reimbursement of the buyer’s closing costs, an appliance allowance or a selling agent bonus to an electric awning to shade a hot patio.

Property offers can come at any time and deals can be quite fragile, so the inventory manager must be available to receive and evaluate offers 24/7. This level of availability and commitment also helps to foster a more collaborative and successful relationship with the broker. Effective inventory managers develop keen negotiating skills: They can predict likely offers, counter offers, buyer hot-buttons and concerns. This empowers them to take control of negotiations in a market where buyers often feel they are omnipotent – and to advance the client’s best interests. Effective negotiation balances all parties’ interests and results in a successful, time-and cost-effective outcome.

Security Camera Systems – The Application Of Security Camera Systems In Homes And Businesses

Security Camera Systems – The Application Of Security Camera Systems In Homes And Businesses

When it comes to home and business security, there are a variety of steps people can take to protect their properties. People should start with very basic techniques and ideas and consider their various security risks and concerns in order to determine what level and expense of security system will be necessary. From simple auditory intrusion alarms to motion detectors and security camera systems, you can design a system that will suit the needs of your family and employees. Make sure you read the fine print before you purchase any kind of security product. You may also want to chat with a qualified security consultant before you purchase and install a system.

Security camera systems in homes and business are becoming a more common place element and they can serve as an obvious deterrent to crime. When someone walks into your place of business and sees they are clearly visible on a televised monitor at your cash register or other customer service area, they will more likely think twice about their behaviour and engaging in criminal activity. Since everything is on the screen, your guests and visitors will assume there is a chance they could be recorded. If a visitor did commit a crime in view of your cameras, it would certainly difficult if not impossible to deny the offence.

Families with small children are using security camera systems in homes more frequently to monitor their nannies and other service workers. Having this kind of surveillance will give you peace of mind that your children are being treated properly and that your valuables are safe while you are both home and away. Cameras can be installed openly or hidden depending upon your needs. You should check with authorized security officials to make sure you are within legal guidelines when you want to install cameras in particular areas of your home and business.

Security camera systems in your business or home will give you a huge advantage and better chance of catching a criminal who does burglarize your property or commit some other offence onsite. If you don’t have cameras, the criminal could get away with your valuables and you will have no idea about who committed the crime. With cameras, you could at least get basic information in some cases as to whether the criminal is male or female, the ethnicity, the height and weight and any other visible attributes. Even if your criminal wears a disguise, there may be distinguishing features that will help police make a proper arrest.

Basic Principles of Sales

Basic Principles of Sales

It does not matter if you work in telesales, are a business owner or are about selling face-to-face, you need to remember and use the principles of sales.

There is nothing worse than having the phone ring and someone read through a script to you or walking around an exhibition to have someone on a stand start gibbering straight at you. It is so impersonal.

I have jotted down a three tips I see as the basic of sales.

1 – Be human, remember people buy from people

Don’t talk in jargon or in corporate speak. It is actually just makes you look like you don’t know what you are talking about. Research has shown, according to Dr Robert Cialdini, that just by asking “how are you?” increases your chances of getting a sale significantly. Show you have a sense of humour and can be flexible. It makes you real and more authentic. People do not like dealing with robotic and rigid processes.

2 – Find out what they want first

I know so many people that dive straight in talking about how good the company is, or how qualified they are, and what they have been up to. The thing is, your prospects don’t actually care about you, they care about themselves first. You need to understand that in order to get a prospect onboard with you and to start trusting you, you need to show you understand where they are right now. You need to understand what their pain and frustration is at the moment. You need to understand what the answer to their prayers is, so that you can offer your services in a way that makes them “need” what you have.

3 – Give them what they want

Once you have established what your prospect “needs” you can then look at what you have to offer and repackage it according to what they want. For example say you offer a home study course that included a book, an audio and a video. You might think the video was the main selling point of the home study pack so you make that the focal point of your sales pitch. Your customer might however have mentioned they spend a lot of time in car and enjoy listening to audios. You should rearrange your offer to take this information into account. Give you customers what they actually need, not what you think they should want.

Sales doesn’t have to be more complicated than that. Yes there are a lot more tips and techniques you can use to improve your performance, but everything will feed back to these basic core principles of sales.

Money Plant Tree – Secret Feng Shui Way to Attract Wealth

Money Plant Tree – Secret Feng Shui Way to Attract Wealth

In the event you are searhing for an easy way to draw in more wealth and money into your life, start by obtaining a money plant tree. This attractive indoor plant is commonly used as a feng shui tool to assist with finances. The way in which it looks has special significance and is great in any area of a home or business. It also goes by its botanical name ‘pachira acquatica’ and is generally not naturally shaped the way it is. This unique plant is actually a combination of several plants with intertwined stems that look like they’ve been braided. It had been first created in the 1980’s and grew in popularity internationally for its symbolism of the five elements in feng shui.

Many people have adopted this beautiful plant and used it for attracting money. You will find five leaves that branch out from each of the stems, they’re believed to represent the five elements wood, water, metal, earth and fire. The five leaves on each stem is used to symbolize the elements in perfect harmony. This makes the money tree the right tool to use for just about any part of your room or entire home containing unbalanced ‘qi’ or energy. Simply locate the region that needs help with a bagua map and place a money tree where it’s needed.

The top places for a money tree are areas that have anything to do with money or wealth. For instance in the home, the preferred spot for this plant is near a safe deposit box. Businesses would benefit from having this plant near its cash register. A particular room in the home which may need a money tree is the home office. This is where you conduct business so it definitely doesn’t hurt to possess more money in this particular area. Money trees are great gifts for anyone who’s starting a new business.

These plants are relatively easy to care for. They can grow to 7 inches and have quite a long lifespan. Regular watering and a bit of sunlight is all that is needed to care for them. Direct sun exposure is bad, because it will dry out the leaves so keep them in areas with dim lighting. Water the money trees enough every time and let the soil dry out before watering again. Excessive water will cause the leaves to brown and fall off. Avoid misting the leaves directly as that causes the leaves to fall out as well. With the proper care and right location, these plants is likely to be just what you will need to generate the sort of success you have been hoping for.

Learn how a money tree plant can help attract wealth into your life. Use the bagua to find the best location to put this and learn how to use other decorating techniques for the same purpose.

Setting Up an Extraordinary Home Office With Laptops and Desktops

Setting Up an Extraordinary Home Office With Laptops and Desktops

Now that you have decided to give your kids a computer and an office for homework, what exactly the following step? Determining whether to obtain a desktop, laptop, or tablet is your next choice.

Desktops are the original personal computer. The advantage of desktops is that you can have the best hardware. Furthermore, the hardware is generally easy to access, so you can add better components to the computer later on, instead of investing in a brand new desktop. You might want to improve the graphics card, or add a hard drive. Desktops also usually contain six or more USB ports, whereas laptops and tablets only have two or three. The largest CPUs and GPUs must have big cooling fans, and these can only fit in a desktop. These computers also can display to numerous monitors. The drawback of desktops is that they are not portable. They are designed to be stationary. A desktop is ideal if you need a powerful computer for autocad. Excellent desktop computer manufacturers are Alienware, Lenovo, and Sony.

A laptop computer is smaller and easy to transport compared to traditional desktops. In the past laptops were less productive than desktop models, yet in the present day, laptop computers are designed to be just about as powerful as desktops, for everything with the exception of the most complex programming. Laptops have space limitations, however, and processors designed for them operate at low voltages. This means that they can’t have the big heat sinks that are needed to operate the fastest CPU’s. Expect to find a 500 GB hard drive and 4 GB RAM in a laptop. All the hardware is compact, and swapping parts once you have bought the computer may be difficult. Some laptops allow you to increase the RAM. The main advantage of a laptop is that it is portable. Good laptop manufacturers are Alienware and Lenovo.

Tablets may resemble laptops without keyboards, and in some cases, that is indeed what they are. With the globalization of touch screens, tablets are now available. Various businesses sell laptop and tablet convertible computers. Alternatively, you can purchase a separate removable keyboard for numerous tablets. One of the reasons that tablets are so popular is that they are mobile. Tablets are usually able to connect to full size monitors too. A tablet is probably not your initial choice when you plan for your home office computer. This concept is changing, however, since tablets have been enhanced in recent times. For instance, you can download office applications. You can also give presentations. If you are a retailer, you can use your tablet in place of a cash register, and process credit cards. Tablets are superb for a mobile lifestyle. There are three main operating systems for tablets, one of which is Android. Excellent tablet manufacturers are Sony and Lenovo.

Whichever computer you go with, you ought to think about storage. Computers typically have internal hard drives. You might want an external hard drive to keep your data backed up and stored safely at home. Opt for a Solid State Drive or a rotational drive. You can also go for the cloud for extended storage. For transferring files on a routine basis, or for increasing the storage capacity of a laptop or tablet, you can easily use SD and micro SD cards. These work on laptops and tablets. SD cards are also used in lots of cameras. USB Drives are common and they make it simple to move files from laptop to tablet or to share data with a classmate. Some tablets, however, don’t have USB ports. Sony Memory Sticks are used only in Sony branded products. Excellent storage suppliers are SCT, ADATA, and LaCie.

Printers are important office machines for the home office. Decide if you need color printouts, and how frequently. How fast do you hope the printer to print? Do you also want a fax machine, copier, and scanner? Do you print photos regularly? Laser printers are the speediest and have the nicest copies. If you print in black and white, this is a preferable choice. Color laser printers cost a lot of money. For this reason, you will want one only if good quality color printouts are important to your success. Ink jet printers are economical and satisfactory for all around use. These machines are often bundled as all in ones containing a copier, scanner, printer, and fax. This may be more than perfect for your home office. If color is necessary to you and you plan to keep costs as low as possible, buy an ink jet printer. Another category of printer you can choose is a photo printer. These printers can work as effectively as mail order photo printing services. The negative is that the ink cartridges and the photo paper are costly. Excellent printer brands are Dell, HP, and Ricoh.

How Households Can Make Good Use of Online Faxing

How Households Can Make Good Use of Online Faxing

There are a lot of companies and articles touting the benefits of online faxing, but they seem to focus just on corporate users. Occasionally there will be an article or fax service come-on that cites the benefits for home offices, but the fact is that there are plenty of good home uses of this new, secure communications channel, too.

It should go without saying (but little does anymore) that something that is “affordable and easy” for a home office or small business is also affordable and easy for home use. There are numerous benefits conferred by the use of online faxing services, starting with the fact that online faxing is easier, cheaper, more flexible, more versatile and more secure. Within these categories there are plenty of examples showing how households can make good use of online faxing.

It’s easy, so do it
Because it takes just a click of a mouse, you can send and receive documents with next to no effort. With all that is going on in the modern home – moms often working but still in charge of making dinner, kids running to school and then to piano lessons, dads needing errands run while they’re at the office, etc., etc. – the last thing you need at home is to feed pages into a machine for faxing. This doesn’t even count all the wasted effort with toner, paper, cables and the rest.

32many non-computer tasks while your PC reads your faxes to you. On the “send” side of the equation, it’s important to remember that many of the institutions that homes deal with – schools, utility companies, trash service, doctors’ offices – are much more likely to want documents mailed or faxed than e-mailed. It makes for much easier relationships to send the school nurse or the power company a fax rather than an e-mail. Perhaps this will change as time goes on, but for now these operations do prefer faxes.

You’re always first in line
The flexibility and versatility come into the picture when you consider how faxes are received in most places. While you can set up your home online fax system to send and receive documents in your computer, most companies still keep their faxes and e-mails separate. You never know when your e-mail may be read and responded to, but you’ve probably seen the fax machine at your favorite Chinese take-out place so you know that when the message prints it’s right next to the cash register where it will be seen right away. The same is true whether you’re contacting your auto shop or your dry cleaner. You will be seen, you will be taken care of and you will be glad you used an online fax.

Another kind of flexibility comes into play with the account you set up with your online faxing service. Some limited plans are still free, while full-featured, two-way, secure and dependable service plans start at about 15-20 cents a day. With a tiny investment you get a world full of fax machines at the other end of your modem. Everything works through the computer and communications system you already have in place, so there is no additional expense.

Your worldwide connection
Faxes proliferated around the world for years, so there are huge numbers of them. They are used every day in government, schools, hospitals, industry, the hotel trade and everywhere else. When you want your international order to be seen, and you have the choice of an e-mail or fax number at the European company, using your online fax is the better bet. When you want to send your accountants some documents that they can immediately add to the appendix of a report, or as backup in your tax return, you will want them to have printed fax-machine pages in their hands, not an e-mail in their computer.

Whether you are dealing with lawyers, university admissions officers, auto parts suppliers in Japan or a haberdashery on London’s Savile Row, the best bet for instant (and instantly usable) communications is to use your online fax. It is just like having a long-distance printer set up at every place you want to reach, and a good way to keep from being just another “digital line entry” in someone’s e-mail inbox. There are nearly countless ways to demonstrate how households can make good use of online faxing, but it actually comes down to a few simple things. Faxes are out in the open, they’re immediate and they’re trustworthy. It’s hard to imagine you would need any more reasons than that to use an online fax service!Metro Hi Speed.com is a leader in fax services solutions for any sized business.
